Hello Sister Synthia - Holy lady with the beautiful smile. Your joy radiates, right through the computer screen! You know that you remain in my daily prayers and I ask that you continue to keep Jackie in yours. Life itself, is so precious, and indeed she is with us still today, through prayers and love and gratefulness to our Lord. I thank you for all you've done and continue to do in these regards. I love you dear friend. God bless you, and your newest best friends, every day. :o)

Dear Sr. Synthia, Congratulations on the beginning of your formal formation yet we both know that your formation began a long, long time ago! I am praying daily for you my friend and all those at the monastery. I miss you but always knew this is where you would end up. Can't wait for a visit. Be love and allow yourself to be loved. God is good! ALL for His glory!! Amen

"... if we turn to Him promptly and focus our attention on Him, and not on our thoughts or feelings, His calming Love will flow into our hearts, and He will help us respond...." So true! I discovered this through Grace just last month. My oldest son died, and if I think of MY loss, emotions erupt. But my suffering turns to joy when I focus on Jesus, and through prayer I receive His peace, and then I trust Him even more. It's beautiful what God can do with our sufferings when we invite Him in.
